Boy charged after armed robbery

A 15-year-old boy has been charged following investigations into the alleged armed robbery of a Palm Beach store this morning.

Around 4.30am, a male entered the 8th Ave premises and allegedly threatened the console operator with a knife before fleeing with cash from the till.

The boy will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
