Arrest after domestic dispute stabbing in Nambucca Heads

A MAN has been charged after allegedly stabbing his son during a domestic dispute at Nambucca Heads.

Emergency services were called to a home on Bellwood Road last night following reports that a man had been stabbed.

On arrival officers found a 33-year-old man suffering a stab wound to his neck.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene before being taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus where he is currently listed as critical but stable.

A 58-year-old man was arrested at the home before being taken to Macksville Police Station.

The man was subsequently charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and reckless wounding.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on Thursday, October 8.
