Aussie soldier dies in hospital bed after military accident

A 22-YEAR-OLD Australia soldier died on Thursday after a Defence Forces vehicle rolled on the Holsworthy Range on Monday.

Sapper Jordan Ronald Penpraze was one of 18 soldiers injured in the accident.

Born in Victoria, Sapper Penpraze had only enlisted in the army in April this year, starting his official employment training in July after completing his recruit courses.

Sapper Penpraze had been in a critical condition since the accident, with his family making the heart-breaking decision to switch off his life support on Thursday.

The Australian Defence Force Investigative Service was still working with the New South Wales Police and ComCare to determine the exact nature and details of the accident.
