Be cool while you blow your mind at Kirra Fest 2013

THE summer festival season has kicked off and there is no better way to celebrate it than coming to Kirra Fest 2013.

Regular Tweed performer Mason Rack said he and his band organised the festival to bring everyone together.

"We just thought it would be cool to do it," he said.

"We wanted there to be lots of local musicians, great music and an event that you can bring the kids to."

Mason Rack Band will headline the show with special guests.

Soul Reference, Electrik Lemonade, Sonia Serin duo, Dan Hannaford and Andrew Baxter will keep festival goers rocking on two stages.

If you're right into your blue guitarist you cannot miss out on Andrew Baxter.

"He's a lawyer in his spare time," Rack said.

"He's a great musician.

"All of them are."

Rack said his partner Tanielle Jade, an upcoming jazz vocalist who is comparable to Adele, will be up on stage showing off her talents throughout the show.

There will be stacks of CDs and prizes up for grabs as well as entertainment all day long including fire twirlers that promise to blow your mind.

To get you slice of the festival pie head to Kirra Sports Club on January 27 for a full on family fun day.

Doors open at 3pm and tickets are only $20 call 07 5536 7422 to purchase.
