Beach Bumbs hit trail

FIT and fun-loving families are invited to attend a bike fitness class this Sunday.

The class is a fundraiser for the Casuarina Beach Bumbs, a group of women who are committed to participating in a charity bike ride to benefit The Queensland Institute of Medical Research.

Casuarina Beach Bumbs team member Kathy McGarry said the fitness class will start at the Casuarina Recreation Centre at 9am and conclude at 11am.

“We will ride to Salt for a class in the park, ride to Kingscliff for a fitness class and then back to the rec centre for yoga,” Ms McGarry said.

“The cost is $20 per person or $50 per family.

“There will then be a sausage sizzle at the rec club afterwards.”

Participants are asked to bring a bike and a helmet.
