New business: Beautiful Elegance for stunning formal looks

NETTIE Sutherland loves fashion.

The Beautiful Elegance owner takes her team to Brisbane every month for training on how to dress and accessorise.

"It's so we know how fashion works, plus we have learnt matching accessories to shoes is the in trend thing," she said.

A new Beautiful Elegance shop front will open at Hervey Bay Stockland on Thursday next week.

Nettie said shoppers could expect a great experience teamed with the old favourites once offered at the now closed shop front along Charlton Esplanade.

"The old shop front closed a week ago but the new store is much bigger," she said.

"While the new one is similar to Forever New, we will still offer things like fascinators."

Nettie said the demand for formal wear had increased throughout the years.

"There is a demand for formal dresses in Hervey Bay with approximately 300 girls graduating per year needing a variation of styles and sizes," she said.

"We offer not only the purchase of a garments but a styling experience for the graduates to help give them a red carpet look."

But Nettie wants customers of all ages to feel comfortable in Beautiful Elegance.

"We offer styles for those aged mid 20's onwards," she said.

"Out garments are hand picked from Sydney to London with exclusive labels."
