Beautiful life for our Samantha

OUR own Samantha Harris has been named one of Who magazine's Most Beautiful People for 2011.

The former Banora Point star is currently gracing the catwalks of Sydney Fashion Week, wearing designs by fashion powerhouses Gail Sorronda, Lisa Ho and Kirrily Johnston to name a few.

But Miss Harris is no stranger to the spotlight.

Her first Sydney Fashion Week was in 2005 and she began her career with a magazine competition at just 13 years old.

Now, in what seems like the icing on the cake, Miss Harris has been given her highest beauty accolade to date.

“She is absolutely excited and ridiculously busy,” manager Kathy Ward said.

“It's a huge accolade to be nominated by Who and even moreso to feature on the cover.”

Ms Ward said she believed Who magazine had been following Miss Harris' success for many years.

“I think they've been following her for a number of years, and she just seems to get more beautiful every year, so I guess the timing this time was just right.

“Being on the front with Dannii (Minogue), Emma (Booth) and Megan (Gale) really just blew her away.”
