Is this the best Aldi special buy yet?

FACT: Aussie shoppers go nuts over ALDI's Special Buy Events.

Earlier this week we saw the $99 chair from the homewares range sell out in just 30 seconds, and let's not forget mums working in teams to nab all their ski gear in their annual snow gear sale earlier this year.

But possibly the best items of all are on their way and they have people super excited.

"ALDI will be selling the 6V Mercedes-Benz Ride on Car for $199, as part of our Special Buys on Saturday 23 September. This year, shoppers are also able to purchase a 6V Caterpillar Tractor with Dump Bucket for $199," a spokesperson from ALDI confirms.

"Electronic Ride Ons continue to be a popular item when sold at ALDI stores, especially at an incredible price."

The car features a 6 V battery and charger, speeds up to 4km per hour in forward and reverse, as well as working headlights and a horn.

Popular Instagrammer The Kidz Curator first shared the news the items were coming up in a Special Buys Event.

"When your kid has better wheels than you do ... $199 in @aldiaustralia on September 23rd," Rosie (aka The Kidz Curator), posted with a snap of the impressive black wheels.

As expected, Aldi lovers were sent into a frenzy, with the post receiving more than 300 likes and partners tagging each other for Christmas present ideas.

"Yass Bae would slay!! Get ready for a mummy Aldi punch on for this one," wrote one eager follower.

Both the car and tractor will be in stores with a $199 price tag - the car being a friendly $30 cheaper than previous years.

"I would say that this is a super popular buy each year and that people better be at their local ALDI when the doors open if they want to get their hands on one," Rosie warns.

While the car has been a popular item in the past, Rosie says parents need to brace themselves for the tractor this year.

"The electric tractor is getting a lot of hype," she says. "I know my boys would think they were the bees knees cruising around our garden in these sweet wheels."

The car and tractor are on sale Saturday September 23rd. Visit for more.
