Big game from Ogilvy gets Kings home over 36ers

SYDNEY Kings big man AJ Ogilvy came up with an incredible eight blocks to help his team down a determined Adelaide 36ers 105-93 at home yesterday.

The victory extended the Kings' winning streak to four and consolidated fourth place on the ladder.

Ogilvy  had an enthralling battle with Adelaide big man Daniel Johnson who finished with a game-high 28 points and eight rebounds.

Ben Madgen also starred for the Kings with 25 points while American import Sam Young contributed 21, including a last-play alley-oop dunk off a Madgen pass.

Despite its 83-80 loss to Melbourne at home on Friday night, thanks to a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Tigers star Mark Worthington, Perth retained its three-game break at the top of the standings after round 15.

Results (home team first): NZ Breakers 106 Wollongong 101, Townsville 79 Cairns 90, Perth 80 Melbourne 83, Sydney 105 Adelaide 93.
