Pushbike rider hit by car not seriously injured

Update, 12.54pm: THE man injured in this morning's collision at Currumbin involving a pushbike and car is expected to leave Tweed Hospital later today.

North Coast Area Health Service said the rider sustained only minor injuries in the crash.

 

Initial Report, 11.36am: A PUSHBIKE rider was injured in a collision with a car at Currumbin this morning, according to Queensland Police.

The incident occurred on Duringam St, Currumbin and the first call came through to police at 6.10am.

Police were unable to detail the severity of the bike rider's injuries, but the person was taken to Tweed Hospital for treatment.
