Bindi Irwin back on top with another perfect score on DWTS

BINDI Irwin pulled out a showstopping performance on Dancing With The Stars today.

The Sunshine Coast teen earned another perfect score from the judges for her Viennese waltz to Alexander Jean's Roses and Violets.

Irwin performed the beginning of the routine blindfolded, demonstrating the strong bond she has formed with her professional dance partner Derek Hough.

Five-time winner Hough is clearly feeling the pressure to choreograph stand-out routines week after week for Irwin.

"I just want to make sure I do good stuff for her because she definitely has what it takes to go all the way," he said.

"There's no room for doing anything less than amazing."

Irwin took to Instagram over the weekend to thank Hough for keeping her motivated over the past nine weeks.

"Even when I'm super tired he gives me strength and encourages me to keep trying my best and always believe. You're the greatest big brother I could ever ask for," she wrote.

Judge Bruno Tonioli described her performance as a thing of "pure beauty", while Carrie Ann Inaba said it was like watching a sunrise.

The perfect score secures Irwin's spot in next week's semi-finals and she is still the favourite to take out the ballroom show's title.

Tamar Braxton was nearly eliminated after she was hospitalised for a two-week battle with pneumonia.

She made a last-minute return to the live show, performing her duet routine (combined with the judges' scores of her rehearsal video) to get enough points on the board to save herself.

Braxton has been a front runner alongside Irwin and Nick Carter.

Instead, Mark Ballas was eliminated with his dance partner Alexa PenaVega, who is married to another one of this season's contestants, Nickelodeon star Carlos Pena.
