"Blow this I'm going to have fun”: 'Suds' cover beach

WHEN Vicky Kisina found Lamberts Beach covered in waist-high 'suds' she didn't hesitate before jumping in.

"I thought 'Blow this, I'm going to have fun'. So I jumped in and had fun," Ms Kisina said.

"I'm only short but it was right up to my waist. It's good to make everybody laugh and see what you can do at an old age."

The 54-year-old Mackay woman said ever since she was a child she had associated rainy weather with the outdoors.

"Those were the days to play outside in the rain. Get out there, splash in puddles, have some fun," she said.

But it all that time she had never seen the foamy bubbles take hold of the beach before, and had no idea what had caused it.

Vicky Kisina had a ball playing in the 'suds' washed up at Lamberts Beach this morning.

While the beach was covered when she visited early Saturday morning, by 11.30am the bubbles had receded as the tide went out.

But she believed they may return on the high tide Sunday.
