Border commissioner visits

RESIDENTS with issues about the invisible line separating Queensland from NSW have the opportunity to grab the ear of the cross border commissioner today.

Cross border commissioner Steve Toms, deputy premier Andrew Stoner and Tweed MP Geoff Provest will be meeting with residents in a public forum at 1pm (NSW).

This will be the first official visit by the cross border commissioner after taking up the position earlier this month.

The meeting is at Tweed Ultima from 1pm - 2pm today.
