Borrello happy to have Broich back in Roar line-up

BRISBANE Roar midfielder Thomas Broich's return from ankle surgery has delighted his teammates, none more so than forward Brandon Borrello.

The Socceroos under-20 representative (pictured) scored his second goal of this season thanks to a brilliant ball from the German maestro against Wellington on Monday night, in Brisbane's much-needed 3-2 win.

"It works well with the team when he's on the ball. The (opposition) players are more worried about him than the players making runs in behind, and it worked (against the Phoenix)," Borrello said of Broich.

Borrello said the Roar attackers set high standards during the Asian Cup break.

"The front three and our midfielders have had talks about wanting to score more goals, and we've got to be lethal up front," he said.

"We want to score as many goals as we can, and from as many different players as possible."
