Bottle shop on Sandgate Rd robbed for money and alcohol

POLICE are investigating a robbery of a bottle shop on Sandgate Road in Boondall this evening.

Around 7.15pm three men entered the bottle shop and one of them demanded money. The male attendant complied with demands and the men then fled the store with a sum of cash and a quantity of liquor.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The men are described as African in appearance aged between 25 - 30-years-old. They were last seen driving away in a white 2006 Holden Rodeo utility.

Police investigations are continuing.
