A KIRRA bottle shop attendant was threatened and assaulted in a robbery last night.

About 6.50pm three men entered the Musgrave St store and smashed a bottle of spirits.

Police said the three men left the store only to return a few minutes later to harass the attendant.

They threatened him then stole a number for bottles of spirits before pushing the attendant and taking cash from the register.

Police said the worker suffered no physical injuries from the robbery.

The first man is described as being Caucasian, 178cm tall, slim build and brown hair.

The second man is about 183cm tall, Pacific Islander in appearance with a heavy build and dark brown hair.

The third man is described as being Caucasian, 170cm tall, slim with dark brown hair.
