Bowls club swings into the 60s

IF THE swinging 60s are your thing then you have to head down to the Tweed Heads Bowls Club

The Fabulous Sounds of the Sixties Show will bring the 1960s to our shores in a night to remember.

The show has won best production show at the South Queensland Entertainer of the Year Awards for three years in a row.

Band member Darren Ray said the band of himself, Scott MacFarlane, Fernando Sanchez, Randal Terrens, Rhonda J Bonaduce, and the Love Bugs - Hannah, Heidi, Kaitlyn and Lil Abby will be joined by 4BH's Greg Newman and Hippy Al to take you back.

"That's 11 performers on stage plus there will be special guests including Charlie Watts-his-name, Crank Sinatra, Yoko Ono's long-lost sister Kim, plus the Wilson brother that The Beach Boys never spoke about," he said.

"There'll be lots of fun and giveaways, funny routines and the best dressed 60s person on the night will receive a groovy prize."

To check it out head to the Tweed Heads Bowls Club on September 22.

The show kicks off at 7.30pm and admission is free.
