Boy hospitalised after falling from cliff

A BOY is in a serious condition in hospital after falling from Brisbane's Kangaroo Cliffs.

The boy, 8, suffered multiple fractures after falling from the cliffs about 5.45pm on Christmas Day.

Queensland Ambulance Service personnel rushed him to the Mater Children's Hospital for further treatment.

Queensland Police Brisbane regional duty officer Mark Bradford said the incident was being treated as an accident.
