BRAS that customize and enhance the cleavage are more popular than ever with two-thirds of Australian women confessing to owning a push-up bra.

Pleasure State, the creators of the revolutionary My Fit range of push up bras has asked Australia to decide:  What is Cleavagely Correct?

With the festive and summer season underway, Australians have revealed their thoughts on the appropriate amount of cleavage to display on different occasions:

  • Australians are nearly split down the middle on the Cleavagely Correct debate - with 52% believing at least some cleavage enhancement is appropriate at the office Christmas party, whilst 48% believe minimal or natural cleavage is correct.
  • 27% of women plan to show cleavage at the work Christmas party compared to 11% who show some cleavage at work.
  • Challenging the fashion guideline of women highlighting either their cleavage or legs when choosing their outfits, nearly 60% of respondents believe it is okay to display both this social season.
  • Women from NSW are more likely than women from the other states to prefer to show some cleavage at the office Christmas party (37% compared to the national average of 27%).

Fashion personality, Charlotte Dawson and Relationship Expert and Coach, Jacqueline Hellyer have worked with pleasure state my fit to uncover the top occasions for maximum cleavage versus those considered appropriate for minimal or more natural display of cleavage.

"Not all women or bras are created equal, ideally a woman should have a choice to be natural, slightly lifted or proudly va-voom," Charlotte Dawson said.

"Like all fashion choices, different moods and occasions often call for a customised solution to ensure you feel at your best and can put your best cleavage forward.

"Pleasure State my fit has created a range of bras that allows a woman to now go from natural, to customized push to an extra oomph as they choose."

Top ranked occasions to use a push-up bra as voted by Australians, are:

  • At a nightclub (72%)
  • On a first date (62%)
  • Bumping into the ex (61%)
  • At a wedding (57%)

Aussies also spoke out about the top four occasions when cleavage should be minimal or natural:

  • On a first day at work (81%)
  • Meeting the partner's parents (76%)
  • At a job interview with a male boss (73%)
  • Family occasions (69%)

One of Australia's foremost relationship experts, Jacqueline Hellyer, says a woman's sexuality is intrinsically linked to her level of confidence and freedom to make her own choices.

"By having choices, she can customise her cleavage for varying social and professional situations, with confidence and self assurance, enhancing her décolletage with pride," she said.

Ms Dawson agreed, saying, "It's fabulous to be a woman in today's society and possess the power we have - it's just about when and how we use it that counts".

The Pleasure State My Fit range has designed a perfect solution for every outfit and occasion, ensuring your cleavage is correct no matter where you are.

All bras in the range have the world's first 'Secret Service' suede lining which applies  'grab and hold' technology meaning the bra stays in place all day, every day without needing to adjust.
