Break-ins may be linked

GOLD Coast police are investigating possible links between three break and enter offences this morning.

The first offence occurred after midnight at a service station on Guineas Creek Rd at Elanora where the front glass doors were smashed and cigarettes, ice cream, confectionary, mobile phones and DVDs stolen.

About half an hour after the Elanora break in, the front glass doors of a service station at Stewarts Rd at Currumbin Waters were smashed and soft drinks, cigarettes and phone chargers were stolen.

The third offence occurred about 2.15am when a tyre lever was used to smash the front glass doors of a convenience store at Olsen Ave at Molendinar.
