Brisbane's main arterial cut by one drink driver
A 34-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after being involved in a crash that blocked one of Brisbane's busiest roads for two hours.
At 6.40pm on Saturday, two vehicles collided on Coronation Drive - a main arterial linking Brisbane City to south-west suburbs.
One vehicle came to a stop on the bank of the Brisbane River, which runs alongside.
The driver of that vehicle was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital with minor injuries.
The other was charged with driving while under the influence and obstructing police.
