British woman, 21, killed in ATV beach rollover in far north
A WOMAN has died following a traffic crash involving an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on One Mile Beach at Port Stewart in Far North Queensland.
Initial information indicates around 3pm on Saturday the 21-year-old British national was driving the quad bike along the beach when it travelled through a stream of water and rolled.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The passenger, a 37-year-old man, was uninjured.
Investigations are continuing.
