Couple makes beautiful music

PERFECT weather, family and close friends made the wedding of country singer Brooke McClymont to musician Adam Eckersley a day to cherish forever.

The couple married on October 17 at Adam’s parents property in Tamworth and said they couldn’t have picked a more perfect day to make the commitment.

“We made it our own,” Brooke said.

“The day was perfect, we couldn’t have picked it better if we had tried.”

One hundred and fifty guests turned out to celebrate the wedding of the former Grafton duo, with close friend and comedian Tom Gleason acting as MC and adding his witty humour to the occasion.

With sisters Mollie and Samantha by her side as bridesmaids, Brooke married in the gardens of the country property.

A low-key reception followed.

Adam and Brooke first met in Grafton, living in the same street for years, before meeting up later at a show in Newcastle and dating for close to two years.

“We were always good mates and then we met up again at a gig I did in Newcastle and things went from there,” she said.

“Married life hasn’t changed us, we are just a very musical household now.”

Entertainment included V-Dubs, John Peppercorn, Hot Riley and musician guests, who got up on stage for a ‘jam’.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Tasmania for six days before coming back to settle into their Central Coast home.
