Buddy Holly to play Twin Towns

BUDDY'S back!

The Buddy Holly Show is coming to Twin Towns Services Club next month marking the 75th anniversary of the rock'n'roll pioneer.

Scot Robin, who played the lead role in the smash hit musical Buddy, will perform over thirty of Buddy Holly's hit songs including favourites That'll Be the Day, Peggy Sue, Raining in my Heart, Rave On and Oh Boy.

Mr Robin also performed in Buddy's home town of Lubbock Texas for Buddy Holly Week in 2004 where he met his family and widow Maria Elena Holly.

He said the show would excite audiences both visually and musically with heaps of energy, brilliant costumes and fantastic musicianship.

"Buddy's Back is one of the most exciting shows to hit the Australian cabaret circuit in years," Mr Robin said.

"2012 will see the show celebrating its 17th year of performing, proving itself yet again to be among Australia's most successful production shows.

"It will have the audiences dancing in the aisles."

Tickets from the Saturday, June 9, show are just $25.
