A BIG event in September is going to beam Coffs Harbour into millions of television sets overseas but this event isn't the World Rally Championship.

International Television icon, the BBC, will send a crew to film Coffs Harbour International Buskers and Comedy Festival for a BBC children's show to be shown in the United Kingdom later this year.

The program BC All Over the Place will travel down under and will film on Tuesday, September 25.

Organisers are thrilled that  word on the festival has spread to the other side of the globe and that they would be interested enough to come.

Negotiations have been finalised and filming permits are being organised with Council.

Producer Laura-Jane Chalmers from the BBC's Glasgow office has confirmed a crew of eight people including two presenters will attend.
