Sisters Maddison and Savannah Fitzpatrick have both been selected for the 2014 under-21 Queensland women's hockey squad.

The pair were selected after strong performances at the recent Super League tournament, held at the Queensland State Hockey Centre, Colmslie earlier this month.

Queensland's top 100 hockey players competed in the Super League tournament, making the Fitzpatrick sister's selection in the squad all the more special.

The 2014 under-21 women's state teams will be selected from the squads next year.

The Fitzpatrick's have now made selection for both the 2013 and 2014 U21 Women's Squads.
