Calf market firms as pig yarding drops at weekly sale

THE calf market at the Warwick Pig and Calf Sale was fully firm on recent week's rates at today's sale.

There was also a small yarding of pigs, however no pork or bacon pigs were yarded.  

Calves   beef grass eaters from $355-$510   light veal calves topped at $425   beef rearer calves top of $260   light diary bulls sold from $30-$70  

Pigs   grower pigs $126 to $140   store pigs $113 to $119   sucker pigs topped at $88
