Calling all sports club fans, vacant club needs manager

ALTERNATIVE uses for the Bilambil Sports Club which has been vacant since last year after it wound up operations are being sought.

Tweed Shire Council is seeking feedback from the community about preferred options for the future use and management of the club at the corner of Bilambil and Hogan Rds.

The council is also inviting registrations of interest for any proposed commercial use of the building.

"Any future arrangement for the club's management must allow appropriate access for the existing sporting clubs to allow them to continue to conduct their activities effectively," council's manager of recreation services Stewart Brawley said.
