Camp TV introduces 5.22 million Americans to the Tweed
THE beautiful scenes of Clarrie Hall Dam and Crams Farm have graced the screens of a least 5.22 million American televisions.
NBC's latest TV show Camp, which was filmed mostly in the Tweed, won the No.1 spot for the 10pm timeslot on Wednesday in the US.
But popular TV website Zap2It reporter Rock Porter said it wasn't a great result.
"NBC's dramedy (drama/comedy) Camp had a so-so start Wednesday, scoring a better adults 18-49 rating than most of the other scripted shows that have launched this summer but also falling off a good amount in its second half-hour," he said.
The first season will have 10 episodes, but was originally scheduled to have 12.
Australian actress Rachel Griffiths stars as Mackenzie Granger, camp head honcho.
She's trying to get over losing her husband to a younger woman.
The series is classed as a drama/comedy and it follows a group of campers and counsellors at a lakeside summer camp named Little Otter Family Camp.
There's still no word on when the series will air here.
