Can Brisbane baker win MasterChef?

QUEENSLAND'S hopes of a MasterChef winner now lie in Brisbane baker Julia Taylor.

The 26-year-old is the only contestant from the Sunshine State in the Top 3 after Brisbane physiotherapist Mindy Woods was eliminated last night.

Taylor will compete against Andy Allen and Audra Morrice in tonight's grand final.

If she wins, she would be the first Queenslander to do so in the show's four-year history.

Taylor hopes to keep a cool head in tonight's two-hour grand final.

"I'm going to push myself so hard but I've got to keep calm," she said.

"I think that's the best way to approach the final."

In the first half of the final, the MasterChef kitchen turns into a restaurant where the final three contestants must cook 100 entrees.

Then, the final two will face off in one final invention test.

Win or lose, Taylor plans to use her "money can't buy" experiences from the show to eventually open her own cake shop in Brisbane.

"I live in Newmarket, so I'd love (to set up in) that area or Ashgrove or Paddington, something with a nice neighbourhood feel," she said.

The winner of series four will feature in the new series of MasterChef All Stars, which starts tomorrow.

The show features four contestants from each of the past three series competing to raise money for charity.

The MasterChef grand final starts at 7pm tonight on Ten.
