A CAR towing a trailer has driven off a Mooloolaba boat ramp this morning.

Emergency services reported the car and trailer were fully submerged in water about 10 am.

A female driver escaped the car as it was sinking, unharmed.

It's believed the owner of the car was watching on as it happened.
