Car collides with traffic light in Tweed Heads South

A DRIVER has crashed into a traffic light at Minjungbal Dr and Machinery Dr intersection this morning about 11.45am.
No one sustained injuries in the crash, but traffic was backed up for a short while before the car was quickly removed by a tow truck.
Banora Point Fire Brigade and Tweed Police were on the scene cleaning up debris from the wreckage and guiding traffic, but no fire or electrical hazard appeared to be present.
The traffic light was badly bent as a result of the crash.
