Car crash blacks out 2500 homes
A CAR that crashed into a pillar box has caused the loss of power to 2500 homes in Banora Point this afternoon.
Essential Energy received the call reporting the outage at about 5.15pm and a crew was expected to arrive on the scene at 5.30pm.
Homes are still without power and the energy supplier could not say when electricity supply would be resumed.
