Woman taken to hospital after accident

UPDATE: A woman was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital after her call drove off a cliff at Bilambil Heights on Saturday. 

Emergency services were called to Broadwater Esplanade at 10.45am.

A NSW Police Media spokeswoman said the car rolled down the hill before being wedged between two trees .

She had to be removed from the vehicle before being transported to the Tweed Hospital. 

MARCH 16: A CAR has reportedly gone over a cliff at Bilambil Heights this morning.

Emergency crews were called to Broadwater Esplanade at 10.45am after reports of a car going over a cliff. 

It is understood police, ambulance and fire crews were on the scene. 

There are no reports yet of the driver, any passengers or the vehicle according to NSW Police Media.
