Car rolls on Pottsville Rd

A YOUNG woman was hospitalised after a car rolled over on Pottsville Rd near Sleepy Hollow this morning.

Tweed police said details about the accident were still being sought but confirmed that a young woman in the vehicle was transported to Tweed Hospital before being transferred to Gold Coast Hospital.

NSW Fire and Rescue said a unit was called at 6.20am but the 26-year-old woman was not trapped in the single-vehicle accident 3km along Pottsville Rd from Mooball.

NSW Rural Fire Service attended the accident scene this morning.

The vehicle she was travelling in came to rest on its roof down an embankment to the side of the road.
