Car, truck collide at Tugun
A DRIVER has been taken to hospital following on accident on the Tugun Bypass this afternoon about 3pm.
It’s believed a car and truck collided.
Gold Coast police are asking drivers to avoid the bypass after a traffic collision occurred on the southbound lane, near the Currumbin-Tugun turn-off.
Police are diverting traffic and have closed that section of the motorway.
One person involved in the accident is trapped in a vehicle with suspected minor injuries.
