Cartwright one of top Aussie athletes named in IPC squad

FOUR world champions and four Paralympic gold medallists from London have been named in a 40-strong squad to contest next month's IPC athletics world championships in France.

Kelly Cartwright (long jump), our sole female track-and-field gold medallist at the London Games, will be joined in Lyon by fellow Paralympic winners Evan O'Hanlon (100m and 200m), Todd Hodgetts (shot put) and Richard Colman (800m).

Athletics Australia chairman of selectors Dion Russell said every eligible athlete who had achieved at least one 'B' qualifier had been named in the squad.
