CCTV images released of service station robbery

IMAGES of a man who robbed a service station attendant at knifepoint have been released in the hope someone will recognise the suspect.

Toowoomba detectives have not been able to identify the hooded bandit who used a kitchen knife to hold up the United Service Station on West St about 4.05am on December 7.

The attendant handed over a sum of cash before the man fled along West St on foot.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants and running shoes.

The attendant was not injured as a result of the robbery.

Darling Downs Crime Group officer Detective Acting Inspector Paul McCusker said it was hoped someone would recognise the man's distinctive hooded jumper.
