Celebrate Bastille Day with a French banquet

FRANCOPHILES will gather at Stokers Siding on Saturday for a Bastille Banquet.

The celebration of French culture will feature live music from jazz group Harmonicity with special guests, along with a three course French-themed meal at Stokers Siding/Dunbible Memorial Hall from 7pm.

Organiser Jenny Unwin said the last two such events sold out.

"Last time, we only had probably five people sitting down and people just didn't want to go home," Ms Unwin said.

"That was just a wonderful atmosphere and we want to recreate that this time.

"People really enjoy the intimate atmosphere of the hall and just being able to enjoy the moment with their friends and family."

Ms Unwin said the three-course meal would be prepared by French and European chefs.

Tickets are $60 per person and pre-bookings are required by this Sunday: contact marcus.michelle@bigpond.com or phone Jenny Unwin on 0418 723 908.
