Hang out with Joel Parkinson

FRESH from winning the 2009 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing in Hawaii, Coolangatta ace Joel Parkinson will be on hand at Surfing Australia’s High Performance Centre (HPC) from January 11-15.

The Billabong Joel Parkinson Surf Camp is designed to give locals a once in a lifetime opportunity to surf, hang out and soak up all the valuable knowledge and surfing tips that the world No.2 and the HPC coaches have to offer.

Parko is one of Australia’s best surfers and the country’s best juniors continue to try and emulate his achievements – most notably at the Billabong World Junior Championship each year, as Parko was the last Australian to win the event back in 2001.

The camp caters for all surfing levels, from those looking to complete that first cutback, all the way to launching and landing aerial manoeuvres, and will include coaching from Australia’s finest fully accredited surf coaches, video analysis of each surfing session, silicon coach DVD, and product bags from Billabong.

Interested parties can contact HPC manager James Eggington or visit www.surfingaustralia.com.
