GOLD Coast police have charged a man who allegedly used a camera to secretly record a female employee.

Police alleged the camera was set up in a change room at an Elanora business.

The 20-year-old man was charged with indecent treatment of a child under 16.

He is due to face the Southport Magistrates Court on March 28.
