The Bee Gees' childhood home has burned down in a fire

FIRE has destroyed a house believed to have been the childhood home of the famous Bee Gees brothers.
The blaze broke out at the Margate home, north of Brisbane, on Friday morning.
A neighbour told ABC radio the home was the last place the Gibb family lived before returning to England.
She recalled seeing the famous brothers turn up to the house in a limousine a decade ago.
The occupants living in the house currently escaped the fire without injury.
The Gibb brothers grew up in the Redcliffe area.
Robin Gibb died in 2012 and his brother, Maurice, died in 2003.
Andy Gibb, the youngest of the famous brothers, died in 1988.
The brothers are survived by Barry Gibb, 66.
