Class of 2013: Student thrown from van for formal arrival
WHEN it comes to arranging transport to your Year 12 formal, one Tweed student has taken the prize for the strangest.
Year 12 student Danyon Bruce, of Kingscliff High School, decided to have a bit of fun with his entry opting to be thrown from a van in a bag.
The light-hearted prankster could be seen laughing on arrival on the ground.
Other unique arrivals included a fire truck and the ever popular ice-cream van.
You'll find photos of these and much more in the Daily News' Class of 2013 formal photos special, out this Saturday.
The special features photos from all Tweed year 12 high school formals this year and is a 20-page liftout (pre-order at your local newsagent today).
Also in Saturday's paper, we've put together a massive guide for surviving Christmas in Tweed.
It will feature everything you need to know this time of year - shopping times, carol events, church services, gift wrapping services and so much more.
Don't miss all this and much more in this week's Daily News, out on Saturday.
