Clothes find new homes
THE clothing in Vicky Jamieson’s boutique has come full circle.
Mrs Jamieson runs a clothing consignment store called Fashion Circles in a converted Queenslander– style home in Tweed Heads.
“I like to think I cater for the discerning woman,” Mrs Jameson said.
“I like to think I’m offering something different to the shopping centres; everything is geared to the teenager or the person who wants throw away clothing.”
Women supply Mrs Jameson with articles of clothing and receive 50% of the profit when a garment sells.
“Many of the clothes have only been worn once and some are brand new sample garments that have come from a pattern maker,” she said.
“I am giving women who pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars on their clothing an opportunity to make some money back; and the average women the opportunity to get great quality at a fraction of the price.”
Fashion Circles is at 35 Beryl St, Tweed Heads. Phone 0400 110 651.
