Catch up with councillors soon

TWEED residents will have greater access to their elected councillors when a new series of community catch-ups is launched early next month.

The inaugural session is planned to be held at the Tweed Heads community markets on Sunday, September 4, giving residents the chance to speak face-to-face with the elected members about any council-related topic.

Subsequent catch-ups are scheduled to be held at Chillingham in November, Pottsville in February, Murwillumbah in May, Kingscliff next August 2012 and Uki in November next year after the September 2012 scheduled elections.
