Fireworks at Crystal Creek school

TONIGHT the sky above Crystal Creek Public School is set to blaze with colour and light when the 25th Annual Crystal Creek School Fireworks Spectacular takes place.

One lucky child who purchases an unlimited ride pass will be drawn out of a hat to take to the stage, push the plunger and detonate the fireworks display.

Crystal Creek Public School's Sharon Heilbronn said the chance to set off the fireworks would be an amazing experience for the lucky winner.

“All kids love fireworks, but how many would love the chance to push the plunger on one of the region's biggest fireworks displays?” Ms Heilbronn said.

“The unlimited rides passes are $30 pre-paid or $35 on the day.

“Cricks Murwillumbah and Tweed, the event's major sponsor, will also attend the event to assist in the detonation.”

Some of the fireworks effects featured at the event will be the “Super Brocade Crowns” which are massive long-lasting fireworks that hang in the sky like fireflies.

Entry to the Annual Crystal Creek School Fireworks Spectacular is $10 per family.

The gates will open at 2pm for a fun-filled afternoon, and the fireworks will go off at 7pm.
