Maryborough Patrol Group Road Policing Unit officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Tony McCarthy said ladies doing make-up, brushing hair and people eating were all among the weird things police had seen people attempting while behind the wheel.
"Mobile phones are the main distraction," he said.
"Some of the other crazy things we have seen is ladies doing make-up."
