North Coast cricketers perform strongly in nat championships

TWO former Far North Coast Cricket Academy boys are doing well at the Under-17 national championships.

Jacob Wood has taken 4-21 from 10 overs and 3-35 from eight overs as well as scoring 19 not out from 17 balls.

Max Bryant lit up the national carnival with 83 from 66 balls and has chipped in with innings of 14, 18 and 13, as well as taking two wickets with his medium pace.

Meanwhile, Lewin Maladay of Bangalow has had a huge finish to his Under-19 state challenge, scoring 112 not out from 66 balls to help NSW Country maintain its dominance over NSW Metro in that age division.
