Cricket greats speak ahead of masters v Tweed locals match
IF you fancy having a beer with famous test batsmen Greg Blewett or legendary Queensland Bulls captain Jimmy Maher, they'll be at a sportsmens evening in Tweed on Thursday.
The ACA Masters team is in town to take on a local outfit of rep players with a Twenty20 match at Cudgen Cricket Club on Friday from 6pm..
Ex-player and media personality Wayne Phillips with feature as a guest speaker at the Saltbar night.
"The chance to hear guys like Greg Blewett - a current commentator, Queensland legend Jimmy Maher, Australian selector Andy Bichel, plus guys with an insight into the team's inner sanctum is one you don't want to miss," Mr Phillips said.
Along with a speaking panel the night will feature an auction and raffle with the event starting at 6.30pm.
