Cricket star facing torture charges over 11 year old girl
Suspended Bangladesh fast bowler Shahadat Hossain and his wife could face lengthy jail terms after being charged with torturing their former domestic servant, an 11-year-old girl.
The couple is on bail and deny charges of employing and assaulting a minor. Hossain went to police on September 11 this year, claiming his maid had gone missing - he handed himself in on October 5.
The case will be heard next month.
